This book is a powerful journey through time and space; an exploration of Truth and Spirit that takes the reader through history and into the future. The writing is deeply thought-provoking. So many books of this genre can be pretty mindless pap, but not this one. A Spiritual journey is full of joy, terror, pain and pleasure -- and so is this book. If you are looking for an in depth exploration of alternative spirituality, this book is highly recommended by me.
She walks her path with dignity and elegance and she shares who she is with impeccable vision. She does not realize to a full extent how those of us who can hear and see her, touch and taste her, come alive filled with passion and compassion, with our senses intoxicated by the remembrance of Self in the pursuit of our own soulful journey. Pamela Eakins compels and allows our senses to move us from the seen to the unseen, from our limited language to the language of Soul and Spirit and thus we move to other worlds more real while remembering who we really are.
Pamela, though I do not know you personally, I have long thought of you as a mapmaker extraordinaire and your maps have touched me deeply with insight, truth and love. Thank you is a small expression given for the difference you make by your words, visions and the beauty of your journey. Thank you for allowing me to fly along with you.
This book is a gift to the thirsty soul. It is a tome that fulfills the heart and connects the spirit to a tribe of both present and past seekers of the Divine Feminine. I took my time reading this book. Savoring each journey into the priestesses of the past. I found that my life was miraculously mirroring each of these sisters and within their stories I found a source of spiritual sustenance that aided me through my own life’s parallels. Ultimately it teaches the unity of love. It elucidates through storytelling how we are still striving as a race to allow tolerance, diversity, depth of thought, and individualized communion. It demonstrates the many roads to achieve this with grace. It is a work I will read again and again. It is one that I recommend in its entirety for its clarity, research, personalized approach, and absolutely engaging story telling which will inspire the reader in exceptionally profound ways.
